I’ve just returned from 6 weeks of studying at Al Qalam institute. my biggest regret is not prolonging my stay for another few months. The teachers are fantastic, skilled, experienced, very inspirational but best of all they are brothers and friends before anything.
In my short stay i completed the third bayna yadaka arabic book in the series and went on to complete the middle school Al Azhar books of hadeeth, tafseer, seerah etc.. I hope to complete the high school books through skype lessons so i can reach the level required for Al Azhar university in the future insha Allah.

Jazak Allah khayran for unforgettable experience,

i hope to come back soon insha Allah

Having just returned from Cairo after a short but intensive introductory course I can safely say that the Al-Qalam course and its tutors are highly recommended. The tutor that I was fortunate to study with was very professional, patient and very supportive in helping me reach my objectives. During the course we covered Bayna Yadayk Book 1 from cover to cover; enabling me to go from nil understanding of conversational Arabic to 85-90% understanding of the topics that were covered whilst being spoken at a prompt speed. Tuition was provided in a 1-2-1 format at my accommodation and the books were provided by the Tutor (which he was rightly reimbursed for). I was not fortunate enough to prolong my stay but had I done so I feel that my Arabic response and dialogue would have improved further more. InshaAllah I will be continuing my Arabic studies via Skype until I can repeat this process sometime in the future. I wish the institute and all the staff the very best in success and pray that Allah rewards them for their efforts.
